We recently stayed at the Vistalmar Apartments and were searching for a close place that served local food, we were not disappointed when we visited here. The food had a homemade touch. The cook at the time was great, he came out and chit chatted with us, he actually had been a police officer for Aruba for 20 years. Definitely would recommend.
A little out if the way in a residential area near Route 1 south of the airport, the restaurant appeared popular with the locals. We ate there on two evenings. The food was very good, staff friendly and attentive and the price was less than half that of the more popular tourist restaurants. Forty five dollars bought us two main courses (including fillet steak) and four beers. It is a bit dark and dreary inside but outdoors very pleasant and little traffic noise.
Delicious local food! got takeaway, the meat soup and stewed chicken were both good, the owner was super nice and chatted with us a bit, need to try the stewed goat next time we’re there
I went with my colleagues there to eat. The service was awesome friendly staff good food I recommend it to try their food!!!
Small local restaurant. Excellent service and very good food. Not fancy but clean and reasonably priced
Stopped in to get something to take away. It was at about 9:00 on a Tuesday night. Surprisingly, they were able to prepare grilled chicken served on a salad with soup. Great place in a pinch and the bartender was very friendly.
Food is very local and the beers are veryyy cold!!!
Had 8 adults and 2 children. Service was great. Everyone's food was fabulous. Meat soup was so yummy the kids asked for some. Flan was wonderful. Steaks, grouper, fish, shrimp and burger and Jo Ann mix (burger and chicken breast sandwich) were all great.
